Koelreuteria paniculata
Seed pod gone to skeleton. The second picture shows seed pods on thesame tree,
local landscaping.
Thanks Mayra!
Beautiful capture!
great picture. I think, in my garden I would say: It ended like ll my other plants, what a pitty. ( don´t have a green thumb, I´m better in watching)But in that case thats usual. Fascinating.
It facilitates seed dispersal by exposing the seeds. I usually find skeletalized leaves on the ground. It was interesting to see a seed pod in this condition on the tree.
looks strange with the brown and skeleton "leaves" around.
Beautiful Emma,great finding
Yip, you nailed it!
I think this is the golden rain tree seed pod.
Oh, now I see it. The second picture definitely helps! I'll see if I can figure out what it is.
added another picture of seed pods on the same tree.
actually Cindy this is a seed pod with the seeds .Most of the seed pod has decayed.
Hi Emma, that's a neat picture with the decaying leaf behind the berries!
