Description:

Large white headed gull, with white body and light grey wing covers and back, and bright yellow legs, bill and eye ring.

Habitat:

Seen on a small lake at the base of Jura mountain range, at Divonne-les-bains. Outskirts of urban setting, but maintained lake and park around; still very close to protected forest and marshes area. Area just in between the Jura mountains and Geneva lake (Leman) - I must admit that I was rather surprised to see this mediterranean denizen in this lake (but also in Leman or Geneva lake) here, but...
