Leaf beetle

Description:

A dark rotund leaf beetle with somewhat lined puncturation on the elytra and an unusual lateral grove on each side of the pronotum. This is not a paropsine group but possibly a Chrysolina species.

Habitat:

Under bark of a stringybark gum.
