I think this is a Dung Fly, which is a poor common name, since very few of the flies in this genus breed in dung. About 8 mm long, Family Scathophagidae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.
