This bird was about 30cm tall. Seen on a very windy day in the Coorong National Park near Goolwa... this bird was nearly blown off its perch several times!
Thanks Emilie! I feel pretty dopey, I actually have another shot of the same species in that vicinity - I didn't pick it because this specimen is so much smaller than the other one and I only had a shot from this angle.
