Glow Worm

Habitat:

Paddy field, with nearby two large rivers. Hot area.

Notes:

The previous night that we were holding at the elephant watch tower - after a hectic day of trecking and Mahseer angling - the paddy field was glowing with these glow worms. When in the morning I ventured out to see I observed that the most frequently encountered bugs were these tiny colourless creatures. It appears the glow worms have a great role in paddy pollination in these areas.
