Java Finch

Padda oryzivora

Notes:

The Java Finch (or Java Sparrow) is native to Indonesia, but this one is in the free-flight aviary at Tamworth Marsupial Park. The first pic has the best clarity, but the second one is my personal favourite because it shows him mid-hop and with a cheeky look on his face.

Thanks everyone! This bird is not a pet but it is a captive animal. It is in a free-flight aviary in the Tamworth Marsupial Park.

Quite the loveliest bird I've seen - my opinion, that is.

Great series.
