Polynesian Grapsid Crab

Pachygrapsus fakaravensis

Description:

Medium in size. Green carapace with dark markings. The legs are mottled yellowish green and brownish-black. Pincers have touch of dark pink/maroon.

Habitat:

Sea side, near the jetty of Port Blair.

Notes:

I wish I had those camera lenses you see on Nat Geo!

Lovely spotting and series Sukanya! I have edited your spotting to show that it is an arthropod. This looks to be one of the many Rock Crab species.
