A largish damselfly that kept returning to the same spot. As Martin commented, it held it's wings out instead of folding them back along it's body.

have a look at this Ernst. i think martin is right when you look at the 2 links he provided. What do you think?
Please consider a common flatwing, one damselfly which holds its wings out. A species that is often willing to sit and pose for the camera.
