Description:

A largish damselfly that kept returning to the same spot. As Martin commented, it held it's wings out instead of folding them back along it's body.

Habitat:

On the banks of the river Yarra in Yarra Bend National Park

Please consider a common flatwing, one damselfly which holds its wings out. A species that is often willing to sit and pose for the camera.
