Description:

It is a shrub of 5 to 10 cm tall, not branched. The leaves are 5-10 cm in length and are opposite with three ribs very marked and whitish. The flowers are 5 cm in diameter, pink, and are solitary or in groups of three or four at the end of the branches

Habitat:

It is native to the Mediterranean, especially in the Iberian Peninsula, where it grows on land rich in lime, hot, dry climate.
