GildaGomez Monk Orchid

I understand they reproduce easily (seeds) so I hope to get a baby. My sweet orchid is now over two years old and has bloomed. If we face another hurricane I will dig it up and pot it to keep it safe.

Found one of these terrestrial small orchids growing in my garden behind some hedges in light shade about two years ago. It can be found in Florida from mid state and further south.
It seems its origins are in Africa and it is believed maybe it was first carried west by birds (its seeds), wind or water.
