It's a black rat snake - likely the greenish color variation that we have here in NC that locals call a "Chicken Snake."

The red growth is entirely normal - much bigger on the males ;). I grew up in Florida and know them well, but in my experience, the Muscovys are the most likely to be mean ducks.
