Jumping Spider

Thiodina hespera

Description:

Small spider about 5 mm long with red-brown cephalothorax and tan abdomen. The hairs are tan on pedipalp and legs. There is a white stripe along the front edge of the abdomen. There are also faint black spots on abdomen. The cephalothorax has a big white patch on the top and one smaller on each side.

Habitat:

Pomelo tree leaf in backyard. "This species is often associated with trees and is presumably arboreal. Southwestern United States, all the way to the west coast." - BugGuide
