Description:

Owl-like head, large, yellow eyes and bare, unfeathered legs; upperparts, head and breast are blackish-brown, with a white belly. Sexes are alike. Photo taken at Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Habitat:

Bushed and wooded grassland

Notes:

Can be mistaken for Martial Eagle (they have spotted belly, feathered leg and is much larger.
