black form - adult slate grey with jet black wavy lines on the wings..The underside grey-brown with a black dot in the centre of each wing.
Attracted to the back light on the deck.
can also come in a black and yellow form The totally black form predominates in August and September. Wings where approx 6cm ..so i would say a male being larger in the wingspan.
