Description:

An active and comical leaf beetle in striped costume and several pronotal dots appearing as ocelli and eyebrows. This beetle is nocturnal and found under bark or in used car yards attracted to the lights.

You might have to search under bark in the daytime when they are sleeping.

We're in a bit of strife this year Martin. The car yards next to the forest here have obviously reviewed their power bills and have removed most of the powerful night lights. So has the school. It was good while it lasted I suppose. :(
