Found during a weekend hike in the "Edge of Apallachia" Herbaceous perennial. 8 to 20 inches tall. Flowers: white - solitary - 8 petals - 4 sepals. 8 stamens - 1 pistil. Fruit: pear shaped capsule 0.8 inch tall.
Rich woodland.
