Matthiola fruticulosa
It is a perennial, herbaceous, sub-woody at the base, with stems 10 to 60 cm in height covered with dense white pilosity. The leaves are alternate, oblong to linear, gray-green. It flowers in early spring and midsummer, forming inflorescences of flowers in yellow and purple, pedicellate, with four petals arranged in a cross up to 3 cm and sepals to 15 mm.
Spain, Portugal and France. Roads, in pastures, annual grasslands, dumps and roadsides. In rocky areas, grasslands and sunny thym.
