Confused eusarca moth (male)

Eusarca confusaria

Description:

2" wingspan pale colored geometer moth with large brush like antennae indicating it is a male. The wingspan of this species is between 29 and 41mm. Adults are quite variable but tend to be yellow to tan with gray smudging, some specimens look exceptionally dark compared to lighter variants. Uncommonly individuals will have dark spotting in the subterminal area of the forewing.

Meadow.

Welcome Karen... Wing shape was typical Geometric so it was easy for me to find cross bar type... :)

Thanks for the tip Ashish! I did a search on bugguide last night & came up with many very similar looking moths so I've decided to leave the ID to the experts & have submitted this to butterfliesandmoths.org to get a confirmed ID!
