Tree Swallow

Tachycineta bicolor

Description:

This tree swallow is nesting in one of 12 nest boxes that I volunteer to monitor. Many times the adult will flush (fly out) of the box before you even get to it....if not, you just politely knock and give them a chance to leave.....but sometimes, they are brave enough to stay at the nest and keep check on the eggs.
