Jumping spider

Description:

A unique Jumping Spider either from the Rhombonotus or Ligonipes genus. So far no known species of Rhombonotus and Ligonipes recorded in Borneo. Body length - 6mm. Gender - Male. Head and abdomen dark green in color, semi-transparent caramel-color legs, white dots on both side of it's abdomen, abdomen thin in the middle. It's 1st pair of legs are designed to seize prey efficiently - muscular, hairy, foldable like a praying mantis and jagged like a crab's claw.

Habitat:

Unknown, found it in Rose Cabin inn in Kundasang, Sabah.

Notes:

This is the first time I have seen this type of spider and until now I have not found another one yet. I have to admit that it is a beautiful organism but poor photography was done. I was not good at macro photographing a moving creature at that time. >>>Map accuracy : 20m diameter.
