Leikung porosa
A unique Jumping Spider 6mm in length. Sex - Male. Head and abdomen dark green in color, semi-transparent caramel-color legs, white dots on both side of it's abdomen, abdomen thin in the middle. It's 1st pair of legs are designed to seize prey efficiently - muscular, hairy, foldable like a praying mantis and jagged like a crab's claw. Share similar appearance with Rhombonotus gracilis, Ligonipes sp. and Marengo sp.
Unknown, found it in Rose Cabin inn in Kundasang, Sabah.
>>>Map accuracy : 20m diameter. I have to admit that it is a beautiful organism but poor photography was done. I was not good at macro photographing a moving creature at that time. Might have a chance to be Leikung kinabaluensis as it is spotted in that area - Kinabalu.
If the spider was getting extremely close to an ant nest then it could be an Ant Mimic Spider.
Thank you for your suggestion Erik6.
I agree that Castianeira longipalpis has some similarities with this spider but the species you have suggested is from the ground sac spider family (Corinnidae) whereas my spotting is a Jumping Spider (Salticidae).
Jumping spiders are characterized by their unique eye arrangements, movements and sometimes by their body shapes.
