While stopping our rafts for snacks I spotted this butterfly just perch on a rock 8ft high from the ground level. I climbed the rock some 15ft away, not to scare it, came down slowly towards it and managed these two shots. By the bank of Subansiri River, some 30-40km south of Daporijo, Upper Subansiri District, Arunachal Pradesh.

Thanks maite.versavel. I's lucky to get this photo at a very remote place in Arunachal Pradesh at a bank of Subansiri River. I'd to climb a rock and come down hiding to get this shot.
