Passer rufocinctus
Two races : In the highlands br. male has a pale eye, small black bib; curved rufous streak around the ear-coverts and a rufous rump. In Tanzania, paler overall with a black line below the rusty supercillium and around the ear-coverts; dark eyes. both races are duller and paler with grey throats.
