Description:

The nomotypical subspecies has orange wingtips, but white wingtips occur and are quite common. The species occurs in the Philippines, the Moluccas and New Guinea. There are two subspecies in Papua.

Habitat:

Spotted on Hibiscus sp. in a large semi-urban yard and garden next to a disturbed patch of remnant forest.
