Description:

Attractive rich brown mottled cap darkening lighter towards the rim. Thick white stipe has no skirt but some remnant fibres. Strong white gills are even and separate from the stipe. The skin can be peeled.

Habitat:

Local park, in grass.

It is indeed a chestnut dapperling.
What a dapper name for another deadly fungi.
It was in grass only eucalyptus and no exotics nearby.
