Description:

This owl was spotted at early morning in trees adjacent to a clearing in Manual Antonio, Costa Rica.

Habitat:

Costa Rican forest...seems to like to hunt clearings. This bird was spotted in a sparsely populated area, about a mile from the Pacific Ocean.
