White Coral Slime mold

Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa

Description:

3 colonies of slime mold (2 inches in diameter). Yellow mold can be seen on second photo. The mold is growing on the top portion of the grass.

Habitat:

Lawn grass.

Notes:

A lot of fungi in Texas following heavy spring rains.
