Rose Robin

Petroica rosea

Description:

The rose robin is a small passerine bird native to Australia. Like many brightly coloured robins of the Petroicidae it is sexually dimorphic. The male has a distinctive pink breast.

Habitat:

This particular male Robin has been visiting my yard for the last three days. I have been told that is very unusual for it to be seen in a suburban backyard
