Golden Net-wing Beetle

Description:

Beelte with red to orangish red wings. Black venter, black spot on pronotal disc, black scutellum. Length is 6.5-11.0 mm.

Habitat:

Habitat is coniferous/mixed forests, in decaying logs; adults on and under bark of decaying stumps and on tree trunks; also on flower. This one was observed crawing on a dead stump at Stevens Creek Heritage Preserve near Clarks Hill (McCormick County), SC.
