Hi Desmond, like I said in the description, the first 3 pictures are all the same female Stonechat. The Scandinavian Chiffchaff can look similar at first glance but would have an overall whitish chin/throat and a narrower, buffish supercilium, and also the underside of the tail plain grey with slightly darker outer edges of the tail feathers. The Stonechat has pale tail feathers with darker centres giving the impression of a dark tail with a pale border, as can be seen on all 3 pictures. The reddish, as opposed to buffish, tinge on the entire breast is also good for Stonechat and Whinchat but the latter has the red on the throat and chin also. Only the Stonechat has a distinct border between the reddish breast and the grey or whitish chin/throat of the female. Chiffchaffs can easily be separated from just about any other similar small bird as they have a habit of down-flicking their tail every few seconds. Some winter wheatears can look confusingly like Stonechats except that they will all be in Africa during winter and anyway their tails are all black and white, no grey. Hope all this helps.
