Description:

The Reakirt's blue can easily be identified by its 5 prominent black spots on the forewing and a large black spot with several small dots on the hindwing.

Habitat:

Riparian meadow with Mesquite trees and many varieties of legumes.

Notes:

The larva feed on Fabaceae, particularly mesquites.
