Spotted Sandpiper

Actitis macularius

Description:

Here I go! .....Daring to insult the honor of the "Gods of Birdwatching" by saying that this bird seems to me as an Spotted Sandpiper in juvenile/winter form. I hope that an angry lightning bolt does not kill me if I am wrong! :-) ....BTW, I had to get up of the "airmchair" for these pictures as the birdie was quite far away on the rocks!..ufff, was such an effort.....

Habitat:

Rocky shoreline, Pacific Grove, CA.
