Eastern Pygmy-blue ??

Brephidium pseudofea

Description:

Tiny. Upperside copper brown. Underside hindwing and fringes dark brown. Wing Span: 3/4 - 7/8 inch (2 - 2.2 cm).

Habitat:

Hotel garden.

Notes:

I put this up as an Eastern Pygmy- blue with question marks because from looking at range maps it should not be in Tucson. There were a number of Western ones in the garden at the same time. This butterfly was all coppery brown, as you can see from the photo, with none of the gray the Western ones had on the wing base.
