Description:

The Mallard is a medium-sized dabbling duck. The male is easily recognized with his glossy green head and white collar. The body and wings are brown and pale grey. Black tail feathers with a white border.

Habitat:

Spotted at Klopp Lake at the Arcata Marsh and Bird Sanctuary.
