Moth

Description:

White moth. Squarish shape, Two black dots at the hind edges. Longitudinal patterns in pale grey on the wings.

Habitat:

Suntaley khola is a remote village in West Bengal, India with the River Moorti flowing by it. There is only one narrow motorable road that ends by the river. The moths are drawn to the porch light and alight on the walls near the light. These can often be seen sitting there the next morning. We had to be very careful where we stepped; the moths were everywhere.

Notes:

NMW 2016 Similar moth with horizontal stripes. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/146...
