Orange-fronted Parakeet

Eupsittula canicularis

Description:

Cute small to medium parakeets. These are common on the NW Pacific slope of Costa Rica. They can normally be found in, at least, paris but will often congregate in flocks and forage together. From green to blues, to yellows. This parrot has it all.

Habitat:

They are known to use and inhabit any habitat. I have seen them nesting in arboreal termite mounds.
