Family: Geometridae, Subfamily: Ennominae. A common Typical Geometer moth. Flimsy, broad-winged. WS 30 mm. Yellow wings variably speckled and blotched purplish brown. Males a typically more heavily patterned than females. Hosts: Various trees and low plants including catnip and goldenrod. One or two broods
