Family: Noctuidae, Subfamily: Cuculliinae. A type of Hooded Owlet moth. TL 22-27 mm. Gray FW with brown streaks and black dashed. Dusky HW has whitish fringe. Abdomen tufts of brown scales. Hosts: Aster and goldenrod
Attracted to light. Near open woodlands and large meadow.
geez carol....you could publish quite an extensive field guide with all the different moth's you find in your area.
