Description:

Family: Noctuidae, Subfamily: Cuculliinae. A type of Hooded Owlet moth. TL 22-27 mm. Gray FW with brown streaks and black dashed. Dusky HW has whitish fringe. Abdomen tufts of brown scales. Hosts: Aster and goldenrod

Habitat:

Attracted to light. Near open woodlands and large meadow.
