Habitat:

nest in colonies on predator-free tropical islands, especially coral atolls; they are birds of the open ocean, sometimes resting on the water when far from land but often returning to islets or manmade perches (buoys, channel markers, jetties) to rest.

Notes:

These young one was at first accompanied by 2 adults for most of the morning, However, it remained along for many more hours after the adults left. They were following along with the cruise ship I was one and catching the flying fish that the ship was scaring out of the water. I had quite the show right out of my balcony on Christmas day.
