Tiny White-Yellow Arctiid Moth

Cyana catorhoda

Description:

This is a tiny white arctiid moth that i found on the wall of my house. This moth is most likely female Cyana catorhoda. This moth have a yellow stripes and a few black spots on its wings. The size of this moth is about 5 - 8 mm long.

Habitat:

- Around the house and garden.

Notes:

- This is a moth of the family Arctiidae. It is attracted to the light (possibly a nocturnal insect). Thanks to Bayucca and Psyche (Dr. Seow) for the ID.
