Wood Stitchwort

Stellaria nemorum

Description:

The Wood Stitchwort is a flowering plant native to Europe. The flower petals are divided almost to the basis. It reaches a height of 15-30 cm.

Habitat:

Spotted near a small lake in the undergrowth of a mixed deciduous/pine forest, alt. 1800 m ASL. This plant loves wet soils and being near water.

Hi Agustin! This one is a European species, but the genus Stellaria is very cosmopolitan so I'm sure you'll have a similar one. Looking forward to find out about it if you have pictures!

I could swear we have the same flower growing wild in the Andes, near Santiago, I'll look into it.
