Description:

Wingspan 34-50 mm. A nice looking noctuid.

Habitat:

Grasslands and apparently some orchards.

Notes:

This was a new species for me. It was seen in the Waterton Provincial Park area but a few months later it also turned up in my Calgary backyard which is several hundred kilometres north of this location.
