Sphinx Vashti
Wingspan 6.5-10.0 cm. The smallest grey Alberta spinx.
Open woodland, shrubby areas, edges, clearings.
As this wasn't a new Sphinx species for me I wasn't going to photograph it but it dropped on the table with it's wings open so I quickly moved my camera over and snatched a photograph before it flew off.
