Family: Geometridae, Subfamily: Ennominae. A common type of Typical Geometer moth. WS, no greater than 30 mm. Yellow wings variably speckled and blotched purplish brown. Males typically more heavily patterned than females. Hosts: Various trees and low plants including catnip and goldenrod and dogwood. One or two broods.
Attracted to light near open woodlands and meadow.
