Glyphodes sp. GUENÉE 1854
The adult is white, with a striking brown pattern. It may be distinguished from Agriglypta itysalis by having a white margin on each of the wings. The moth has a wingspan of about 2 cms.
The Glyphodes genus has approximately 100 species spread across many continents. As well South America, where only a tiny fraction of the known species orignate, Glyphodes can be found in Australia, India, China, Japan, Borneo, Madagascar, Africa, Sumatra and the Philippines.
