Macropus agilis
It stands about 80cm tall, with a sandy coloured back and top of the head, and a pale underside. This colouration makes it blend in with the environment, providing exceptional camouflage. Usually solitary, they can sometimes be found feeding in groups. It's a common species across northern Australia.
Found among the thicker vegetation on the banks of the Alexandra River, in the dry season.
This could be the subspecies M.a.agilis.
