Alisterus scapularis
The male King Parrot is stunning in brilliant red and green with a splash of pale blue/green on each wing and a tint of blue in the tail and wing edges, orange curved beak, seed eater naturally, call is single whistling note repeated varied times with a harsh squawk in flight.
Found in eastern Australia in many environments, this one in garden with bushland surrounds.
