A female (which has a rusty band across the chest, while males only have a blue-gray one) that was flitting from tree to tree in a marshy pond area. She was quite vocal.

Musicwolf, I used a Canon 100-400 zoom at full extension, handheld.

One of the most difficult birds to photograph in my opinion . . . . what sort of telephoto lens did you use?

Thanks, armadeus4; often, I see these birds in the distance and when I try to get closer, they fly off. This one sat still for a few moments, which was nice for me.
