Tufted Bird Dropping Moth

Description:

Smaller medium sized moth. Furry thorax. Distinct coloration with light in the middle of the wings and dark on both ends. Variations of bluish-gray, green, white and black to mimic bird droppings.

Habitat:

Suburban backyard garden. Resting on the fence (to be precise).

Notes:

I couldn't believe how beautiful this little moth was!
