I'm going with a Civil Rustic Moth on this one... based on the pattern in the second photo. See if you agree..

Thank you for the comment, Willie! I too have difficulty with the less flashy moths but thanks to PN, I'm starting to notice subtle details and even narrow down some to the genus.

Quality photos Cindy, I wish I could help you with your id, but I simply do not know the plainer looking moths like I should. I suspect if I continue with this great community long enough, my knowledge will continue to expand.
